$2 Currency Notes

The $2 Note of Currency from the Republic of Texas is patterned very similarly to the three and one; all of them being very different from the larger notes. In the left, framed by the denominations (both spelled out and numbered) is a stag perched on a bluff, overlooking water. The central vignette is of a cowboy roping a steer while on horseback; an idea that is central to the image of Texas over a hundred years later. To the left of the vignette is an octogon with a loop of the word TWO in the rim around a geometric pattern that acts as a background for an ornate numeral two. At the bottom of the document, centrally located, is a small depiction of a steamer, billowing black smoke. On the far right of the document, a rectangle is covered in geometric designs, housing the denomination of the note.

These are notes that demonstrate that, even hundreds of years later, the identity of Texas is still very similar to what it was at the beginning; they would make excellent art for framing and collecting as well as being a good value for procuring for future sale. We have a variety of notes at varying levels for your collection:
