$1 Currency Notes

The $1 Currency Note from the Republic of Texas is first in a series of designs that spans the $1, $2, and $3 bills; none of them are "redbacks" but all are vastly different from the notes that follow. On the left, between the denominations, is an image of a Native American brave, with a bow and quiver of arrows, gesturing. The central vignette is a depiction of Ceres, the Goddess of Agriculture, seated with wheat and plowshares. Beneath her, in a centered image at the bottom of the note, is a depiction of an Eagle with wings spread wide. On the right side, the denomination of the bill is framed by a geometric rectangle that has been intricately designed.
These are stunning documents that have withstood history; they would make excellent art for framing and collecting as well as being a good value for procuring for future sale. We have a variety of notes at varying levels for your collection:
